MIRAI TRUNKS . Quiet, kind, sensitive,.a bit sad, a bit tourtured (unless around Mirai Gohan). He did not live the carefree, normal life of his other timeline counterpart.
MIRAI GOHAN . Brave, surprisingly strong, selfless, Trunk's mentor and hero.
This couple has really grown in popularity. It's easy to see why.
POINT 1
M Trunks and M Gohan are the only saiyajins left alive at that time. They only have each other
to count on. Trunks often refered to Gohan as his 'lord and master'....which I found rather odd. Although Gohan did teach and train with Trunks, 'lord and master' is a bit much.
POINT 2
One day Gohan and Trunks were fought but were completely overpowered by the androids. Trunks lay unconscious, and Gohan was hanging on by a thread. Gohan only had 1 senzu bean left. Instead of taking it for himself, since he had borne the brunt of the blast from the androids and lost an arm, he gave it to Trunks.
POINT 3
They bond most I think during their neverending struggle with the androids. No matter how strong they got, the androids were always stronger. One day the androids were destroying and killing things yet again. Despite his protests, Gohan knocks Trunks out and decides to fight the androids alone. With only one arm, Gohan knew he was at a great disadvantage and that this would be his last battle.
When Trunks finally came to, he goes to search for Gohan. But when he finds Gohan, it's already too late. He cries hysterically. His extreme rage and sorrow for the death of, probably his only real friend and his maybe his crush, pushed him over the edge and he goes SSJ for the first time.
POINT 4
Trunks definitely has a hero worship thing going for Gohan as he did for Pikkoro in
the regular time line. Bulma even says as much.
"Trunks worships you (Gohan) and tries to immitate you all the time."
After which Trunks looks rather embarrased and uncomfortable. Even though Gohan was about 10 years older than Trunnk, I think their relationship could have grown to something more had Gohan lived to Trunks' maturity.
